At Ventura, sustainability is more than a goal – it’s a commitment to creating a cleaner, greener future for our communities.
That commitment has taken another exciting step forward, with the delivery of a new fleet of electric changeover light vehicles at our Dandenong depot. This marks the beginning of Ventura’s transition towards a fully electric changeover fleet, reinforcing our long-term commitment to reducing emissions and embracing more sustainable operations across the business.
Our changeover vehicles play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations across the network. By beginning the transition from petrol to electric vehicles, Ventura is taking meaningful action towards achieving our sustainability ambitions and reducing our environmental footprint.
Since introducing the first five electric changeover vehicles, Ventura has already reduced petrol consumption by approximately 800 litres – an early result that demonstrates the positive impact of the transition and the opportunities ahead as the fleet continues to grow.
The rollout is supported by dedicated on-site charging infrastructure at Dandenong, helping ensure the vehicles can operate efficiently while reducing reliance on traditional fuels. The new electric vehicles also provide a quieter, smoother and more modern driving experience for employees.
As Ventura continues progressing towards a more sustainable future, initiatives like this highlight how innovation, operational improvement and environmental responsibility can work hand in hand. Every electric vehicle added to the fleet is another step towards cleaner transport solutions and a greener tomorrow for our communities.
Ventura is proud to be driving change and leading the way towards a more sustainable future.
