
Ventura employees across Victoria have come together in support of an important cause, raising funds and awareness through Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council Australia.
Held across our depots, the event brought employees together to enjoy great food, meaningful conversations and a shared commitment to supporting Australians impacted by cancer.
Supporting Cancer Research and Cancer Support Services
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is one of the country’s largest community fundraising events, helping Cancer Council Australia fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services for those affected by cancer.
We’re proud to share that Ventura employees exceeded our fundraising goal, demonstrating the generosity and community spirit that exists across our workforce.
Raising Awareness Across Ventura
The event was about more than fundraising. It was also an opportunity to raise awareness about the impact cancer has on individuals, families and communities across Australia.
Did you know that around one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85?
Throughout the day, employees shared stories, connected with colleagues and participated in engaging activities including wordfinds and mazes designed to spark conversations and increase awareness about cancer prevention and support.
