Ventura is proud to partner with The Salvation Army Dandenong to support its Hot Lunch Monday program, helping provide meals, connection and support for people doing it tough in Melbourne’s south-east.
The program provides a warm meal each Monday for some of the most vulnerable members of the local community, alongside The Salvation Army Dandenong’s community café, which offers free toasties and hot drinks throughout the week.
Ventura CEO Carol-Anne Nelson said supporting the communities Ventura serves is an important part of who we are as an organisation.
“We are really thrilled to provide some support,” Carol-Anne said.
“Our buses are part of communities right across Melbourne every day, and we believe it’s important that we support those communities beyond the services we provide on the road.”
For Ventura, connecting communities is about more than getting people from A to B. It’s about being an active part of the places our people and passengers call home and supporting local organisations that are making a meaningful difference.
