Safety is at the heart of every journey at Ventura.
As part of our ongoing commitment to bus safety, driver wellbeing and continuous improvement, Ventura was proud to become the first bus operator to host Safe Transport Victoria’s Best Rest Challenge, bringing the interactive fatigue awareness initiative directly to our drivers and staff at our Dandenong depot.
Fatigue is an important safety consideration across the transport industry, which is why education and awareness play an important role in helping people recognise the signs and understand how to manage them.
Safe Transport Victoria’s Best Rest Challenge turns this important safety message into a quick and engaging interactive game. Ventura drivers and staff were able to test their knowledge, learn more about fatigue and reinforce the importance of being well rested – all while adding a little friendly competition to the day.
Being the first bus operator to host the Best Rest Challenge reflects Ventura’s commitment to working collaboratively with industry partners and supporting new approaches to transport safety.
