Our Commitment to Reconciliation

Ventura acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and meet. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the deep histories, cultures, and ongoing contributions of First Nations Peoples across Australia.

Our Commitment to Reconciliation

In recent years, we’ve taken meaningful steps on our reconciliation journey, by listening deeply, building and improving our cultural understanding, and reflecting on our role in shaping a more equitable future. These steps have helped us grow as a business and as individuals, while reminding us how much more we can do. As a Victorian company, we recognise the important work underway through the Treaty and truth-telling processes and the opportunity this creates for all Victorians.

Reconciliation is not a project with a finish line, it’s an ongoing commitment to truth-telling, respect, and action. We will continue to grow as a company and create opportunities for participation and collaboration.

Our Focus Areas:

  • Deepen cultural awareness across our business so our people feel informed, confident, and respectful in their engagement.
  • Strengthen relationships with First Nations communities, partners, and voices, acknowledging reconciliation as a shared journey requiring ongoing commitment and reflection.
  • Review policies and practices to better support equity and inclusion.

We look forward to publishing our first Reconciliation Plan in early 2026.
